Speedy Screens Product Warranty
Warranty Coverage: Speedy Screens warrants that all products comply with the requirements of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 — specifically, that products supplied by Speedy Screens will be free from manufacturing defects under normal use.
All Speedy Screens products come with a minimum 5-year product warranty, in accordance with the standard warranties in effect at the date of delivery.
This warranty applies provided:
The goods are genuine Speedy Screens components
They have been fabricated and installed by an authorised dealer or installer
They are used in accordance with Speedy Screens’ recommendations, including being used for their intended purpose
Warranty Exclusions: This limited warranty does not cover:
Apparent defects caused by unfair wear and tear or abnormal use
Any modification or alteration of the product
Improper assembly
Failures resulting from inadequate inspection or maintenance
Damage caused by extreme weather conditions
Remedy:
Speedy Screens may, at its discretion, repair or replace any portion of the product that proves to be defective under this warranty, at no further cost to the buyer.
Limitation of Liability:
Speedy Screens is liable only for the cost, or at its option, the repair or replacement of defective products.
All incidental or consequential damages are excluded, including but not limited to:
Business losses
Damage to personal property
Third-party liabilities

Insect Screens: Aluminium and working parts - 5 years warranty - Insect mesh (fibreglass) 3 year Warranty
Security Screens:
Aluminium Amplimesh - 5 year warranty

Purchaser Responsibilities:
To make a warranty claim, the purchaser must be able to show:
The defect or damage occurred due to a faulty product or workmanship
The product was used solely for its intended purpose
Maintenance requirements have been followed
They are the original purchaser
The claim is within the warranty period set for the product
The limited warranty does not cover:
Damage caused by normal wear and tear;
Damage caused by negligence; (including accidental damage);
Abnormal use of the product (use of the product will be considered abnormal if it does not conform to or deviates from the product’s normal use);
Change of mind;
Damage caused by unauthorised modification or alteration of the product;
Improper assembly or failures resulting from inadequate inspection and maintenance of the product;
Damage caused to the product by natural disaster (such as extreme weather); and
Theft or loss of the product.
